The Weston High boys varsity basketball team defeated Tolland 74-50 in the second round of the state Class M tournament on Wednesday at home.
Weston held a narrow 26-23 lead at halftime before pulling ahead in the third quarter.
Charlie DiPasquale led Weston with a career-high 31 points, including one three-pointer, and went 12 for 14 from the foul line. Grant Limone (pictured) scored 14 and Pascal Arvoy sank 12 and led the team in rebounds with 16.
Asher Lee-Tyson had a triple double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He had four steals on defense.
Ethan Lee-Tyson scored five and had five steals on defense. Matt Folger sank two points.
Weston, ranked 23rd, faces second-seeded Kaynor Tech in the quarterfinals on Friday at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined.
