AAA traffic safety contest offers prizes

Students in kindergarten through high school  are allowed to participate in AAA Southern New England’s Annual Traffic Safety Message Competition where they can win prizes for posters or videos featuring various traffic safety topics.

The topics vary by grade level and include seat belt and booster seat use, school bus and bike safety, and distracted and impaired driving awareness.

Students can submit an audio/visual public service announcement or a poster.

Official contest rules and a complete list of grade level topics are available at AAA.com/safetymatters.

One grand prize winner will receive $1,000 and three runners-up from each state in AAA Southern New England’s territory will receive $300, $200 and $100 prizes. Honorable mentions at each grade level in each state will receive $50.

Entries may be submitted now through April 1 through AAA.com/safetymatters or mailed to AAA Southern New England, 110 Royal Little Drive, Providence, R.I., 02904, attention public affairs.
