The American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days fund-raising campaign is continuing to take orders, and recruiting volunteers for the delivery of the blossoms in time for spring.
“We are excited by the hope and spirit that Daffodil Days brings to those who have supported the campaign year after year,” said Patrice Lestrange Bedrosian, state director of communications for the Cancer Society.
Daffodil Days offers a bouquet of products for from $10 to $25 in donations. Flower and product orders may be placed now through March 1 by calling 1-800-227-2345 or making an online donation at www.cancer.org/daffodils, where products may be viewed.
Delivery occurs the week before spring, beginning March 18. According to the society, this long-standing program is expected to raise over $500,000 in Connecticut to support the fight against cancer.
