The Weston High boys varsity basketball team lost 58-40 to Bethel in the South-West Conference quarterfinals on Saturday at Masuk High in Monroe.
Weston, the No. 7 seed, trailed second-seeded Bethel 32-14 at halftime before battling back to cut the lead to less than 10 points before Bethel pull out of reach.
Charlie DiPasquale led Weston with 11 points and Asher Lee-Tyson scored 10. Each sank three three-point shots. Pascal Arvoy sank seven and Erik Dammen-Brower scored five.
Grant Limone (pictured) scored four while Matt Gurman netted two. Matt Folger sank one free throw.
Weston will now take part in the state Class M tournament.
