The Social Action Committee of Temple Israel of Westport is organizing a community forum on gun violence. The public event, on Sunday, Feb. 3, at 2 at 14 Coleytown Road, Westport, offers the opportunity for members of the community to hear about the national, state and local responses to the Sandy Hook tragedy and understand how they can lend their voices to the conversation.
Special guests include U.S. Congressman Jim Himes, State Sen Toni Boucher (R-26th District), and Weston First Selectman Gayle Weinstein.
