The National Weather Service is expecting slippery conditions to persist tonight as a light snow will continue to fall until at least midnight throughout Fairfield County. The service warns of reduced visibility and rapidly changing road conditions.
Snow accumulation of about one inch is expected in Weston and the surrounding area, with more possible at higher elevations.
Tuesday’s forecast is for possible snow flurries early in the day, but mostly sunny and cold throughout the day, with a high temperature reaching only about 24. Winds from the northwest of 16 to 18 m.p.h. will make it feel colder.
