Weston Parks and Recreation is offering two different adult winter exercises classes. Registration has begun online and can also be made in person in the recreation office at Jarvis House, 47 Norfield Road.
Classes offered this winter for adults are:
Body Blast: A total body, sculpting, and toning workout with emphasis on core, balance and strength. Dates and times: Tuesdays, starting Jan. 22, from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., or Thursdays, starting Jan. 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. Location: Hurlbutt all purpose room at South House. Enter through Senior Center. Fee: $65 for eight classes or either day. Instructor: Shelley Kaiser. Bring your own water, mat or towel. For more information, email shelleykaiser@aol.com.
Zumba: Learn dance steps to great music. You don’t have to know how to dance and you will re-shape your body, have more energy and increase your mental clarity. Dates and times: Mondays, starting Jan. 28, from 7 to 8 p.m., or Wednesdays, starting Jan. 23, from 7 to 8 p.m. Location: Hurlbutt all purpose room at South House. Enter through senior center. Fee: $50 for Mondays — eight classes or $55 for Wednesdays — nine classes. Instructor: Fran O’neill.
