For the sixth month in a row, the number of home sales in Weston is up from the previous year. There were 18 home sales recorded in December 2012, totaling $22,344,741, with an average of $1,241,374 per transaction.
There were also three land sales recorded in December.
A house on Valley Forge Road was the most expensive to change hands during the month, with a selling price of $4,580,641.45 via two deeds in lieu of foreclosure to Wells Fargo Bank NA.
The lowest price paid was $450,000 for a home on Richmond Hill Road, which was a foreclosure.
Of the 18 houses sold in November, seven exceeded the average selling price.
Property sales are up from this same time last year. In December 2011, 10 homes were sold, totaling $6.108 million, with an average sales price of $610,850.
