Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport will open its doors to children for free through Friday, Dec. 28.
The zoo is inviting families to spend quality time together. “Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has been a family destination for 90 years,” said Gregg Dancho, director of the Beardsley Zoo. “Families from around our region are invited to visit their zoo and hopefully find some peace and comfort here over the holidays.”
The zoo will be open a half day on Dec. 31. The last visitor will be admitted at noon and the doors will close at 1 p.m. The zoo will be closed on New Year’s Day.
Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, only closing on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
Adult admission (12 older) is $12, children (3 -11) and senior admission (62 and older) is $10, and children under three are free. Zoo members also are admitted free.
Parking at the zoo is free.
