Christian Orr discussed the movie Chinatown after a recent showing at the Weston Senior Center.
Weston High School student Christian Orr came up with the idea of a film club for the Senior Center. Once a month he shows classic movies, and after the movie there is a discussion group.
The conversation is meant to be about memories triggered from the period of time depicted in the movie, along with an overall discussion of the movie.
During the discussion, the Senior Center serves pizza.
The club is free, and is offered once a month on a Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 5.
In January, Christian will show Doctor Zhivago and in February it will be The Sting. Space is limited to 15 people, and sign-up is required.
Call the Senior Center, 203-222-2608, for more information.
