David Lidsay, Weston Volunteer Fire Department Chief John Pokorny, John Igneri, and Mike Moore stand near a new Hurst hydraulic pump, purchased this past summer thanks to a grant from the Weston Gun Club Community Foundation.
The new pump replaces an older one that had been refurbished.
It enhances the performance of the department’s “Jaws of Life” and spreaders, which were also purchased from recent grants from the gun club foundation.
