Weston students say: ‘The best me is drug-free’

Representatives of the ADAP (Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program) Youth Leadership Council helped kick off celebration of Red Ribbon Week at Weston High School on Nov. 19, after Storm Sandy caused a delay.

The event was part of a nationwide annual effort to raise awareness about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.

Weston High School students who helped plan the event are, from left, Eli Carter, Andrew Katz, Charlotte Harris, and Jo Gurman.

ADAP leadership members also filmed a short public service announcement about alcohol and substance abuse, which was shown at Weston Middle School.
