Parishioners of St. Francis of Assisi church in Weston started the Dinner with Friends event Nov. 10 in the parish hall with appetizers and then were assigned a host home for a more intimate dinner.
Among the attendees were, from left, Father Michael Dunn, Ann Garvey, and Gina and Dave Fleming, who welcomed the community-building opportunity, especially after the trials of Hurricane Sandy.
