Main Street Weston offers holiday shopping

After a long and trying week for all, the Weston Women’s League (WWL) would like to brighten up the weekend.

All are invited to enjoy an evening of socializing and shopping with girlfriends to benefit Weston SafeRides and DVCC. Main Street Weston returns for one night only on Friday, Nov. 9.

Attendees may get started on holiday shopping early in a downtown atmosphere from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Grand Terrace Room at St. Francis Parish. Wine and hors d’oeuvres for shoppers will be offered for a $10 suggested donation.

Browse through the unique selection of gifts, clothing, handbags, jewelry, and more. Participating vendors are Elements, The E-List, J Hilldebrand, Blue Jean Bar, Just for Ewe, J McLaughlin, Kate an Drew’s Place, Stella & Dot, Benefits, See Design, Lula Belle, Cabbi, Charlie and Grace, Houjeanies (Roberta Stone), Pillow Lady (Interior Dec), Unbakeables, Sage, Feathers, and Calises/Dinner Iz Ready.

From 6 to 7:30, young ladies may shop and fill out their wish lists for must-have items.

Sponsors are the European Wax Center, Devan Motors and Calises/Dinner Iz Ready.

Each vendor is also donating a unique gift item for a raffle.

The Weston Women’s League is a social and charitable organization dedicated to helping neighbors in need. The league sponsors ongoing social events to help women connect with one another in addition to sponsoring many Weston community events, including the summer farmers’ market, Main Street Weston, the Gingerbread Holiday Brunch, and the Memorial Day BikeFest.
