Christopher Plummer in ‘The Tempest,’ in movie theaters one night only

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival’s production of The Tempest, starring Academy Award winner Christopher Plummer of Weston, will come to the big screen in 565 U.S. movie theaters on Thursday, June 14, at 7 p.m.

Mr. Plummer stars as Prospero the magician, the banished Duke of Milan, who is marooned on an island with his daughter. At the end of the movie, there will be a bonus filmed Q&A with Mr. Plummer and director Des McAnuff, hosted by Barry Avrich.

Tickets are on sale now for this event and limited seating is available.

Locally, The Tempest is playing at AMC Danbury 16 in Danbury, North Haven 12 in North Haven, Brass Mill 12 in Waterbury.
