Bridgeport Rescue Mission urgently needs 15,000 coats to distribute to the homeless and working poor during its Thanksgiving Dinner Pantry Box and Coat Distribution Program the week leading up to Thanksgiving and throughout the winter months.
Here’s how the mission says you can helppeople can help:
Hold a drive in your church, organization or school for new or gently used coats for men women and children of all ages and sizes. Or simply collect those you no longer use from your own closets. (Hats, gloves, scarves and boots are needed too.)
Deliver winter-wear contributions to our Donation Center, 1069 Connecticut Ave, Unit 2-B , in Bridgeport, Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
