According to a CodeRed Alert issued this morning, 35 CL&P crews are working in town today, along with the National and Air Guard and town DPW crews, clearing roads and utility lines. “We hope to make significant progress,” First Selectman Gayle Weinstein said.
Ms. Weinstein said CL&P still has estimated the town should be restored to nearly full power by midnight Tuesday. Call CL&P customer service (800-286-2000) to get a personal restoration estimate. Those with an acute medical condition or if CL&P is saying you have power but you don’t, are asked to Ms. Weinstein at 222-2656 and she will put you in touch with a dedicated CL&P representative.
