Ahoy there! Wilton Dance Studio’s spring shows will feature fun for all ages as more than 100 student dancers perform on Sunday, June 10, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Pirates and Petticoats is the featured ballet during the 1 and 4 shows.
The two afternoon performances also include All that Jazz, a review-style show including modern, tap, hip-hop and other styles of dance.
Younger dancers will perform in Grandma’s Attic at 11 a.m.
“Our dancers work so hard to develop their skills all year, and these shows are a wonderful chance for them to share what they’ve learned with their families and the community,” said Brenda Froehlich, owner and artistic director of the studio.
Each year, ballet students in grades one and above are invited to be part of the spring show’s featured ballet.
After the ballet, dancers who take part in the studio’s diverse other offerings, including modern, tap, and hip-hop, perform a variety show to share what they’ve learned during the year.
The Wilton Dance Studio’s spring performances will be held at Wilton High School’s Clune Performing Arts Center.
