Comfort station open all day Friday at Weston High School

A comfort station for those without power wil be open at Weston High School on Friday, Nov. 2, from  6 a.m. to 10 p.m. WiFi Internet access is available in the library, the main lobby, the senior lounge (adjacent to the cafeteria), and the cafeteria.

Useers may log on to the WiFi as hsguest, password weston. To print, email a document to [email protected] and you will receive  an email with a six-digit code to put into the Xerox printer in the library. Drinks are only allowed in the library with lids.

The main lobby may be used for guitar and piano playing. Chess boards and confortable seating are available.

In the senior lounge, there is ping pong, foosball, coloring, toys and books for children.

Shower facilities are available in the locker rooms near the gym. Bring your own towels and toiletries.

In the cafeteria, Chartwells, the school district’s food service, will be serving meals:

  • Breakfast: 6-11 AM (Saturday & Sunday, 8-11)
  • Lunch: 11:30 AM to  3 PM
  • Dinner: 4-8 PM

Average price per meal:  Breakfast,  $2; lunch, $5; dinner $5. Free water and coffee.

The breakfast menu  includes cold cereal, hot oatmeal, fruit, granola and yogurt bar, and assorted muffins. Lunch offerings include: soup, sandwich, cold cuts, tuna, PB&J, assorted chips, and salad bar. Dinner choices are pasta, chicken  and salad bar.

Movies are being shown in the auditorium. Children in grades five and younger must be accompanied by an adult. No food or drinks are allowed in the auditorium. Movies set to be shwn are:

  • 10:30 AM: 101 Dalmations,(G)
  • 1PM: Happy Feet (PG)
  • 4PM: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (PG)
  • 8PM: Remember the Titans (PG)
