Weston schools closed Monday – Wednesday

Weston Public SchoolsWeston public schools will be CLOSED Monday, Oct. 29, Tuesday, Oct. 30, and Wednesday, Oct. 31.A decision about Thursday will be made after storm damage is assessed.

A release issued by the schools said messages will be posted on sandwich board at the main entrance to School Road and flyers will be available at town hall and in Weston Town Center, in case electronic means of communication are not possible.

Updates on the school district will also be given to neighborhood captains in the Weston Community Service Coalition program. School updates will be included in the town’s CodeRed alerts, as well.

Superintendent Colleen Palmer said in the release, “If you become stranded in your home during this storm, please prioritize your family’s safety and let your children know all will be well when they can return to school.  We will work with every family to ensure that a return to school is supportive to our students and stress-free. Stay safe during the storm – nothing is more important.”
