Steve Obsitnik, candidate for U.S. Congress from Connecticut’s 4th District, will speak at the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club breakfast meeting at Bobby Q’s, 42 Main St., Westport, on Friday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 a.m. Guests are welcome. There is a $12 fee for the meeting which includes a breakfast buffet.
Mr. Obsitnik of Westport is a global technology business leader, a decorated naval officer, and a local educator.
Mr. Obsitnik went to Stamford High School, and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis with a degree in electrical engineering. He then served in a submarine force for five years, and after that attended the Wharton School of Business.
He and his wife, Suzanne, are raising their two daughters in Westport.
Mr. Obsitnik spent the last 15 years building small businesses and creating high tech American jobs in the global economy.
