Read to Grow is in need of new or gently-used books to restock its inventory for Connecticut children.
Read to Grow typically provides more than 1,500 books a week to children who don’t have books at home. Read to Grow distributes books to families, child care providers, educators and pediatric primary care centers.
Sixty-one percent of low income families do not have children’s books in their homes.
The organization is especially in need of early-childhood books for children ages newborn through five, but welcomes contributions of books for all ages through high school.
