The American Cancer Society is hosting a free program for cancer patients, survivors, family members, and caregivers.
The Living With Cancer Conference will take place at the American Cancer Society Regional Center, C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Family Building on 38 Richards Ave in Norwalk on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program is scheduled to start at 9. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
The Living With Cancer Conference will feature medical keynote speaker Dr. Richard C. Frank, a hematologist/oncologist and director of cancer research at the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital.
Also speaking is Mack Dryden, writer/comedian/actor, and a survivor of a terrifying stay in an African prison and two different types of cancer. He will be telling inspiring, motivating and hilarious stories about it all in “Live Happy, Laugh Loud — Celebrating Cancer Survival.”
