26th Senate District: Boucher, Curry debate in Ridgefield

A State Legislators Candidates Forum is being sponsored by the Ridgefield League of Women Voters on Friday, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Founders Hall, 193 Danbury Road, Ridgefield.

Republican Toni Boucher and Democrat Carolanne Curry, candidates for state Senate District 26, which includes Weston; and Republican John Frey and Democrat Jeff Bonistalli, candidates for the 111th Legislative District, will participate in a debate and express their views on the critical issues facing theor districts and Connecticut.

Jan Giegler, the unopposed candidate from the 138th District, which now includes part of Ridgefield, will also be on hand to introduce herself and answers questions at the Meet and Greet portion of the forum at noon.

The Sept. 28 forum is free and open to the public. The league will provide note cards for members of the public to submit questions for the candidates prior to the debate.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages active participation in government and voting.
