Weston Girl Scout Grace Juneau completed her Girl Scout Silver Award by delivering a bookcase the Sister Peg Reagan at Caroline House in Bridgeport.

The Silver Award is one of Girl Scouts highest achievements, enabling girls to give back within their community.

Caroline House runs an after school program for children in the neighborhood teaching English to children who might be new to the United States or where English is not the first language spoken at home.

Over many months, Grace babysat and did chores to raise the money for her project. Cabinet maker Mark Petroni agreed to act as her mentor and together they designed and built the bookcase.
