The Weston Forum will be getting a makeover soon, with better graphic quality and a more efficient and eco-friendly printing system.
Trumbull Printing, where The Forum and other Hersam Acorn Newspapers are printed weekly, will be installing new plate processing equipment that is chemical-free and will provide crisper, cleaner imaging and will further enhance print quality.
The new arrangement is estimated to significantly reduce water consumption required to process plates from 30,000 gallons per month to 300 gallons per month. The Trumbull installation and conversion began at the end of April.
