The Parent Teacher Organizations for Hurlbutt Elementary and Weston Intermediate schools have launched their annual fall fundraiser — the Innisbrook Wraps gift wrap sale.
Representing the largest annual fund-raising program at both schools, the gift wrap sale began Sept. 10, and runs through Sept. 17.
Students are selling gift wrap, bows, ribbon and a variety of gift items including fine gourmet foods and Helen Grace Chocolates. Parents, family, friends, and community members are encouraged to purchase items either from students via the catalog or directly online at innisbrook.com, using codes #102287 for Hurlbutt Elementary School (HES) and #105291 for Weston Intermediate School (WIS). Online orders will be shipped directly to the buyer, and the schools will receive fundraising credit.
“This is a great opportunity for families, relatives and community members to purchase gift wrap and other items in preparation for the holiday season, or to stock up for the whole year,” said Eliza Tabacchi, chairman of the Hurlbutt fundraiser. “The process is easy and it’s a great cause — with 50% percent of sales benefiting the schools.”
Innisbrook supports environmental stability via a number of “green” policies. All catalogs, envelopes and standard gift wrap are printed on recycled paper and using low-waste water-based ink and reformulation processes. All standard gift wrap is also printed domestically in North Carolina on recycled paper purchased from mills that support other local and global environmental initiatives.
