The Obsitnik for U.S. Congress campaign announced four new local volunteer centers are opening this month.
The Westport volunteer center opened its doors Sunday, Sept. 9, at 251 Riverside Avenue. Steve Obsitnik, the Republican challenger to incumbent Democrat Jim Himes of the 4th District, and many volunteers celebrated with State Senator Toni Boucher and state Rep. Gail Lavielle.
Monroe will open a volunteer center on Friday, Sept. 14, with Republican state representative candidate DebraLee Hovey. It will be on the first floor of the Safe Harbor Building on Rte 111.
Ridgefield (444 Main St) and Fairfield (1863 Post Rd) will hold their grand openings in the next two weeks.
