This fall, the Weston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a series of programs for adults. Members of the community and Parks and Recreation staff will share their talents and interests to provide instruction on topics ranging from interior design to Zumba.
Join Weston Aquatic Director Lynn Stevens to learn more about the new programming at Weston Kiwanis this Saturday, Aug. 8, at Norfield Parish Hall at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served and members of the public are welcome.
Ms. Stevens will discuss the full list of recreational and fitness programs offered for adults this fall, how to register online at westonct.gov for the programs beginning at the end of September, as well as ways people can get involved in future programming to share their interests and talents with the community.
A longtime Weston resident, Ms. Stevens has worked with the town as the aquatic director for 18 years. Her responsibilities include the middle school pool and Bisceglie Pond, and she finds joy in teaching children to swim.
Ms. Stevens has also been active with the Weston Historical Society.
