A motor vehicle accident involving one car skidding into another behind a school bus was reported on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
According to the police report, shortly before 4 p.m., a Ford Ranger driven by Jose Beralta of Stamford was traveling northbound on Weston Road and came to a stop behind a school bus.
While stopped, a Ford Taurus driven by Robert Cordisco of Indian Valley Road in Weston skid approximately 10 feet before rear-ending the Ranger.
Mr. Beralta was treated by Weston EMS and transported to Norwalk Hospital. Mr. Cordisco was issued an infraction for following too closely.
