Starting Monday, Sept. 10, the Weston Public Library will extend its hours on Mondays and Tuesdays and remain open until 6 p.m. on a trial basis through the end of December.
“We analyzed the use patterns at the library over several months and determined that patrons were most in need of extended hours early in the week, especially during the school year,” said Karen Tatarka, library director.
“We hope our patrons will take advantage of the extra hours so that we can make them a permanent part of our schedule,” she said.
The library’s hours for the fall will be: Mondays and Tuesdays, 9 to 6; Wednesdays, 9 to 8; Thursdays and Fridays, 9 to 5; Saturdays, 10 to 4 and Sundays, 1 to 4.
