Weston Police issued a Bethel man a misdemeanor summons for evading responsibility after he fled the scene after hitting a deer with his car Thursday, Aug. 9, on Newtown Turnpike. Charles Popisil, 58 of Bethel was issued a summons for an Aug. 22 court date.
