Neeru N. Kaushik, a licensed naturopathic physician, is now accepting patients at her Weston office.
Dr. Kaushik has an established practice in Fairfield and is the director of the Institute For Ayurvedic And Naturopathic Therapies where she offers Naturopathic medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, botanical medicine, physical medicine, nutritional counseling, constitutional hydrotherapy, colonic irrigation and panchakarma — an Ayurvedic detoxification program.
Dr. Kaushik is a family practitioner and treats children, adults and the elderly, both males and females. She has earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine and holds a master’s degree in acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport, a master’s degree in science from Alabama State University and a master’s of arts from Punjab University, India.
Dr. Kaushik believes that the root cause of most of the chronic conditions is environmental or industrial toxins which disrupt the natural and normal physiology and cause disease in the normal body functions.
She works towards a cure by eliminating the root cause of the condition and uses natural herbal combinations, teas, decoctions, tinctures and natural supplements to bring the body in balance.
Dr. Kaushik said she is the only physician in the northeastern United States who offers these combinations of healing modalities and therapies. Each combination is selected based on the individual’s constitution or body type, offering a truly personalized medicine.
