The Weston Public Library, which is air conditioned, will be open until 8 p.m. to serve as a cooling center for those who need it, said First Selectman Gayle Weinstein. If power is lost, the library is not on a generator. However, in the case of woirdespread outages, the town hall/library complex is usually among the first areas in town to have power restored.
Thursday is expected to be slightly cooler, partly sunny with temperatures in the high 80s.
