Bullying identification and prevention at Weston library Wednesday

weston-bullyWhat is bullying and when does typical teasing become dangerous and detrimental? Join Weston Youth Services tomorrow, Wednesday, June 5, for a conversation about what constitutes bullying, how parents can approach this issue with their children, and what supports and services are available for victims and aggressors.

Guest speakers from the Domestic Violence Crisis Center have extensive experience with children and adults who have been exposed to violence and personal trauma; Claudia Cardenas is the Director of Counseling and PeaceWorks for the DVCC and H’Vanna Samuels is a violence prevention educator for Peaceworks.

The free seminar runs from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Weston Library Community RoomSandwiches will be provided.
