Stickers for vehicles registered in Weston are sold at Weston Town Hall in the town clerk’s office Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. only, through Friday, June 28.
Application forms are available outside the clerk’s office. Weston Town Clerk Donna Anastasia said residents should be aware that once forms are filled out and handed in, it can take some time to process the information before the stickers are ready.
Now and after June 28, beach stickers may also be purchased at the Westport Parks and Recreation Office at 260 Compo Road South, Westport (at the rear of the Longshore Country Club). Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 to 4:30. The office is not open on Saturday.
Cost of the stickers is $220 per vehicle for Weston residents and $120 per vehicle for seniors. Vehicles must be registered in Weston; proof of registration is required.
Westonites may purchase stickers for vehicles registered in another town for $440 each.
Stickers are not transferable from one vehicle to another.
Payment is by check only, made out to the Town of Westport. Cash, debit cards, and credit cards are not accepted.
Visitors to the beach are not required to have beach stickers on their vehicles — they also have the option to pay a daily parking fee at the gate, which is $30 for weekdays and $50 per day on weekends.
Call Westport Parks and Recreation at 203-341-5090 with any questions.
Beach stickers are good through Sept. 30. Animals are not permitted on any beach property, which includes all grass, sand, and the parking areas, except Soundview parking lot at Compo Beach, as well as the roads within the beach area.
