Saturday, June 1: National Trails Day Hike at Trout Brook Valley in Weston, 8:30 to noon.
Thursday, June 13: Summer Birding Walk at Newman-Poses Preserve in Westport, 5:30-7 p.m.
These educational hikes are open to everyone but have limited space, so sign up as soon as possible. To reserve a spot, email David at email@example.com.
The National Trails Day Hike is a challenging one for experienced hikers with Lisa Brodlie, ALT board member, and Princie Falkenhagen, ALT president, as guides.
Join them on an exploration through the heart of Trout Brook Valley near some of the many vernal pools. Flora will be highlighted along with historical information.
