The 1974 screen version, which starred Mia Farrow as Daisy Buchanan and Robert Redford as Gatsby, is the one that will be shown May 7, ol benefit the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. The reception will precede the screening; and a scholarly discussion will be held afterwards.
