Girls lacrosse: Holmes gets 100th assist

FI-lacrosseThe Weston High girls lacrosse team won its seventh straight game, beating Bunnell 19-5 on Tuesday.

Senior Fran Holmes got her 100th career assist. She had nine in the game and has 101 to date.

She also scored one goal. Morgan Moubayed led here with six and had two assists.

Alexa Werner and Lindsay Koch (one assist) each scored three. Steph Thomson (three assists) and Taylor Swanson each scored twice while Caroline Anderson had one goal. Daniell DeCanio added an assist.

Kristin Caolo had five saves in goal for Weston, now 7-1 overall.
